🦄⛅ “It’s so fluffy I’m going to die!” ⛅🦄
Clouds always make everything look better! The main two types of clouds you’ll see rolling across the sky are cumulus clouds and stratus clouds. Cumulus clouds, or sometimes referred to as "Toy Story clouds", are going to be fluffy clouds with flat bases. Stratus clouds are going to be flat clouds that stretch their way across the sky.
While clouds give us temporary shade on our hikes, it is important to properly prepare for visiting Arches. You can still get sunburnt even with these magical clouds in the sky. Most of our trails don’t have shade so make sure to wear sunscreen and sun protection such as hats or sunglasses. Also, make sure to have a liter of water per person per hour when you’re hiking in the park, especially on a hot, cloudless day.
