Meet Axel (16) from FRANCE 🇫🇷

Lively, polite, optimistic, diplomatic, gamer, and a foodie are a few ways to describe Axel. Activities that interest Axel are body building, football, basketball, table tennis, and handball. During his free time he plays video games, board games, or you can find him reading the news or manga. You also might find him eating with his friends since he loves good food. With a wish of becoming a judge or lawyer, possibly in international law, he knows this experience of coming to America will improve his English. He can’t wait for this incredible opportunity and thanks you in advance! He is getting excited to meet his American family and share in their daily life with them.

Daniel lives in a valley of central Germany with his mother, father, younger brother, and their dog. Daniel is very active person who enjoys cycling, competitive swimming, and playing soccer. He is very involved at his church where he currently volunteers his time as a youth leader. You can also find Daniel playing games or watching movies in his spare time. Local Representative Needed for High School Exchange Students. Use your passion for young people to make a difference in the world! This is a great opportunity for current and former teachers to make some extra money doing what they love most.

Qualifications and Skills

You must have a valid drivers license and be 26 years of age or older.

Responsibilities and Duties

As a World Heritage Area Representative, you'll be that all-important point person for students placed in your area during their year abroad.

Counselor, advocate and friend are just some of the roles you will play as you oversee the World Heritage program in your area and help an international student and their host family get the most out of their year through orientations and scheduled activities.

You will also be a "P.R." person as you recruit and screen prospective host families and students and promote World Heritage in your local high schools.

In addition, you'll help teenagers in your own community become World Heritage exchange students abroad. Opening up the world of international experiential learning to students in your area is an important role of being a World Heritage Area Representative.

As a trained World Heritage Area Representative, you'll receive on-going support from your World Heritage Area Coordinator and Regional Director as you take on a variety of challenging roles!The Area Representative is a part-time, stipend-paid position and many of our representatives work other full time jobs.If this opportunity is appealing to you, please contact me so that we may discuss the program in further detail.

World Heritage's mission is to foster international understanding through educational and cross-cultural programs. World Heritage is a US Department of State designated Exchange Visitor Program (J-1 Visa) sponsor. www.world-heritage.org

Compensation: $700-1050 per student you place, additional bonuses and incentives available.
