The Laguna Bluebelt Coalition brings together organizations and individuals with a common goal of protecting and restoring marine life, conserving biological diversity and maintaining healthy, sustainable marine habitats. The Coalition seeks to provide a forum for communication, relationship building, and public outreach toward the common goals of caring for the marine life environments of Laguna Beach.

We testified to end spraying of pesticides in Aliso Creek today by making it part of a County Pilot Program. We lost by one vote but we'll be back with all of you who care about clean creeks in OC.

Remember playing or swimming in the pond on Aliso Beach means your in urban runoff. The means nasty chemicals from fertilizers, toxins like Roundup and nothing healthy. Be careful and think first.

Our recent survey results showed that the majority of respondents reported a high concern for local water pollution. Unlike the sewer system, which treats water, anything that flows into the storm drain system can impact our water quality by going untreated into our creeks, rivers, and ocean.

Protect our water quality by preventing yard runoff and debris from flowing into the street and eventually the storm drain system.
