The oldest, non-profit education foundation in Orange County, SchoolPower has raised money for Laguna Beach public schools since 1981. SchoolPower, the Laguna Beach Education Foundation, is governed by a board of parent trustees. Our success depends on a multitude of hard-working volunteers, a part-time and dedicated staff and a generous community. Each year, we fundraise through our Annual Commun

ity Campaign and several Events. The money provides the four Laguna Beach public schools—El Morro Elementary, Top of the World Elementary, Thurston Middle School and Laguna Beach High School—with valued educational programs and resources. A percentage of the annual money raised also sustains the SchoolPower Endowment Foundation, which in turn supports the Teacher Grant Program.

🌆 A trip to remember! From the New York Philharmonic to Central Park and the Empire State Building, our LBHS Jazz Band experienced the very best of NYC. A SchoolPower Educator Grant funded an experience for the ensemble to record at a state-of-the-art studio. Plus, SchoolPower Enrichment Scholarships made sure all jazz band students were able to participate. 🎧🎶

Thanks to a SchoolPower Educator Grant, AP Euro and AP Art History students spent the day exploring incredible works of art at the Getty Museum.
