🌊 PIER TODAY, GONE TOMORROW!

Wait… did you know Laguna Beach once had a pier?

It did! Built in 1896, the pier stretched from the north end of Main Beach all the way out to Bird Rock.

With help from a $100 donation by James Irvine Jr., Laguna residents built the original pier.

It was rebuilt twice before a storm finally took it down in 1939.

And here’s the really cool part: at low tide, you can still see remnants of the old pier.

Just another little piece of Laguna Beach history we love sharing!

Join us for a special evening presented by Hunter Fuentes and Jon Stordahl as we explore the life and work of Jean Louis Egasse and his significant impact on Laguna Beach.

His beautiful designs left a lasting legacy of artistry throughout our community. From the Laguna Beach Lumber Company office and the South Coast News building to the Crescent Bay Castle, Egasse’s unique architectural style lives on.

This is a must-attend event!
