You’re Invited to a Virtual Fishbowl Event: Thursday June 3, 2021 9am-10:30am (Challenge Success TMS/LBHS, PTA Coffee Talk)

Dear Parents and Guardians:

Please join us for a virtual multi-stakeholder fishbowl event focusing on the power of relationships, “LBUSD Challenge Success Multi-Stakeholder Fishbowl: Where Are We Now? Where Are We Going?”

A fishbowl provides an opportunity to listen and gain insights on the unique perspectives of students, teachers, administrators, and parents on their lived experiences with the ultimate goal of building shared understanding and trust on complex topics. Panelists include students, teachers, parents, administrators, and Superintendent, Dr. Viloria. Our event theme focuses on relationships and participant’s experiences over the past year within the context of the pandemic, education, and looking ahead to the future.

This fishbowl event is supported by the LBHS and TMS Challenge Success Teams, LBHS Challenge Success Club, and PTA Coffee Talk.

Registration is Now Open for the Films Screenagers (2/24/21) & Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER + Panel Discussion (3/3/21)

During the pandemic and conditions of hybrid or distance learning, we all play an essential role in supporting youth health, balance, and well-being. In partnership with PTA Coffee Talk, we are excited to share a learning opportunity designed for parents and students as we host the films Screenagers: Growing Up in the Digital Age and the follow-up film, Screenagers: NEXT CHAPTER-Uncovering Skills for Stress Resilience through virtual screenings.

ABOUT THE FILMS:
SCREENAGERS reveals how technology/screen time impacts youth development and how adults can empower their kids to best navigate the digital world to find balance. We just found out that Clay was placed on tactical alert starting TODAY, which means all active duty Orange County Sheriff officers are called into work every day until further notice.
