Tony’s Treehouse is a 100% volunteer operated non-profit 501(c)3 organization based in Laguna Beach, California. Donations of any size are welcome.

Mission - Continuing the compassionate spirit of Tony Martinez by uniting family, friends and community who are dedicated to improving the quality of life for families in need. It was founded in memory of a beloved little 9-year-old boy named Tony Martinez. The legacy he left his family and friends is one of giving and living life to its fullest extent. Tony's life on earth was cut short in a horseback riding accident on December 23, 1999. His mother, Becky Martinez, created this foundation in honor of his loving and generous life. Together we celebrate his spirit by reaching out to the less fortunate and local families in need. We are a small grass roots group, receive no grants or government funding, and have no paid staff. Through the generous support of the "Masters at Giving" program and Caryn Locke Werfelman, Director of Guest Services, Tony's Treehouse provided 50 Pageant of the Masters tickets to underserved families from the Boys & Girls Club of Laguna Beach, giving dozens of children and family members the opportunity to experience the arts, find inspiration, and create lasting memories together. .w

For years, and Moore Law for Children have sponsored families through Tony's Treehouse Adopt-A-Family program. Meldie Moore shares:
"We have loved doing the Adopt-A-Family at Christmas with Tony's Treehouse for the last several years. This year, my teenager was giving me attitude about doing the shopping with me. He had final exams and needed to study. He did come with me, and he ended up taking a real interest in picking out the gifts for the teenage and elementary school boys. A couple days later, after we stuffed and delivered all the Christmas sacks filled with gifts, he thanked me. He said it was really nice doing something for someone else at Christmas time. Thank you, Tony’s Treehouse, for helping our family experience the joy of giving a Christmas time!"

We're grateful to shine a light on longtime Tony's Treehouse supporter, Laguna Beach resident, and local business owner Brian Carruthers! As the owner of Brian Carruthers & Associates, a professional investment management firm in downtown Laguna Beach, has been a steadfast champion of our mission for years.
Brian is a dedicated participant in our Adopt-A-Family Program, often adopting not just one family, but two or even three! He also generously supports our annual Summer Camp Scholarship Program, helping send local children to the Boys & Girls Club summer camp.
