We had such a great turnout of birders this morning at the gardens—from newbie to seasoned birdwatchers.

Got lucky with a slight cloud cover that kept the birds out later in the morning.

We saw a wonderful sampling of our natives, from California Quail, California Thrasher, California Scrub Jay, California Towhee and Spotted Towhee, as well as Lesser Goldfinch, Wrentit, Orange-Crowned Warbler, Mourning Dove and Anna and Allen’s hummingbirds. 🤩

Stay tuned here for future workshops in the garden, including Pleinaire painting and meditation. See our web site for details on all events: www.hortensemillergarden.org.

Special thanks to , and for helping us get out the word. 🙏🏻
