Our goal is to make the SDGs a household name and we are going to accomplish that through an online competition that engages the teams behind the thousands of SDG projects, a high profile Gala and Awards event and a year-long social media campaign by multiple teams representing all of the SDGs as they compete for additional funding and an Impact and Most Popular award.
During the lead up to the Awards governments, schools, colleges and universities, NGOs, civil society and the United Nations community will be posting their projects on the SDG Impact Awards site and driving their constituency to view their projects and vote for them.
Awards, by category and by a peer to peer competition will be given out for Impact and for Popularity
