Avivo Village in Minneapolis transformed a former warehouse into something that looks simple but required real innovation: 100 secure private tiny homes for people experiencing unsheltered homelessness. What makes it different is what comes with the room.

Residents get onsite housing support, mental-health care, substance-use treatment, medical assistance, and employment services all in one place. Since the program opened in December 2020, 339 residents have moved into permanent housing. That's not just a bed for the night. That's a pathway.

The model shows what happens when you combine safe shelter with the actual support people need to rebuild. Have you seen community programs like this make a real difference where you live?
