Founded 4/24/17. PO Box 3, Lagro, IN 46941 Our non-profit is entirely supported by donations and grants.

Promoting revitalization of the Lagro Community through education, historic preservation, beautifying public spaces, marketing natural amenities and to inspire a movement of restoration in our community. Lagro Canal Foundation is a diversified group of people who share a common goal of wanting to inspire and foster positive changes in our community. Preservation of our historic roots gives insight to posterity and our objective is to encourage and educate people to respect and value our past to perhaps give us a better understanding of our future. Your support enables us to focus on our mission to promote revitalization of the Lagro Community. 🌟Light Up Lagro promises to be an evening of enchanting activities and the sparkle of the Holiday Season!!! From 4:30-6pm On November 28th, watch Jim Houser Sub-Zero Ice Sculptureswork his magic. He will be set up at the Pavilion and use his skills to turn a ❄️block of ice❄️ into something special for the evening. Enjoy a warm beverage and live music while watching the ice carving, shopping at Red Clover Shoppe and Canal Town Flower House!!

Nothing says Christmas quite like decorating Cookies! 🌟Light Up Lagro🌟 will have Cookie Decorating set up for the Kids Station 1 Firehouse Cafe !! Make sure to stop there on November 28th, between 4:30-6pm and have your littlz decorate some shortbread deliciousness!! After that head down to the Lagro Grocery and they can do a Snowflake Craft. Enjoy Wandering Carolers and Live Music on the Green!
So many things to do and see in Lagro! We cant wait to celebrate the Season with you!

🌟Light Up Lagro has a Special Guest coming to Town🎅
Saturday, November 28th, Father Christmas will make his way from the North Pole
to Lagro!! Tell him your Christmas wishes in person at the Kerr Lock Cabin from
4:30 - 6pm and have your photo taken!!(Donations are optional but know that his Elves are working hard to get that perfect shot)
Trolley No.85 will be warmed up and ready to take you from one end of town to the
other! Come back to the Pavilion and check out the Ice Carving, listen to our Wandering Carolers, enjoy a beverage and baked goods, or purchase a S'mores Kit and fix it over the fire pit! At 630 we will light the Christmas Tree!
It's all happening in Lagro! Cant wait to see you!

🌟 We have a magical evening in store for you!!! November 28th, 2026 we will be Lighting Up Lagro!!
From 4:30 - 6:30 in downtown Lagro there will be Wandering Carolers, Ice Sculpting,
Cookie Decorating, visits with Father Christmas....and so much more!!🌟Trolley No.85 will provide transportation around town and out to Huston's Shining Lights.
Follow our page for new information everyday on what will be happening throughout the evening! We invite you to join us in making Lagro the Brightest, most magical spot in the County🌟

Enjoy an evening in Lagro!

Our neighbors at American Legion Post 248 are hosting a Fish Fry Friday, October 23, starting at 5 PM! Enjoy all-you-can-eat fish with baked beans & coleslaw for $12.

Stop into Red Clover Shoppe before or after dinner—we’re open until 7! Browse vintage treasures, unique finds, and a little something you didn’t know you needed. 😉

Come hungry & leave happy!

🎉 We’re in the home stretch at the grocery store! 🛠️

We’re getting so close to the finish line, and we’d love a few extra hands this Saturday from 9 AM to noon as we tackle the final cleanup and finishing touches!

Bring your energy, a pair of gloves, and any tools or supplies you have that might be helpful—brooms, cleaning supplies, drills, or whatever you can think of!
Every helping hand makes a difference, and we’re so grateful for everyone who has helped bring this project to life. Let’s come together and get this place ready for its next chapter! ❤️
