Before and After! LaGrange Lions Club members Bob Kaminski, Duane Beyer, and Gene Funicelli work together to repair a weather worn Little Library for the AAUW Poughkeepsie Leading to Reading program. A new door, new hinges and shingles on the roof will make a big difference. Thank you Lions for your contribution to support children's access to books!📚

District Governor Doug Stage, standing with our President Mark Davis, presented a $500.00 matching grant from the Brandel-Murphy Youth Foundation Inc. (BMFY) to the LaGrange Lions Club. The grant money, combined with LaGrange Lions Club donation of $500.00, will buy new books and supplies for the Poughkeepsie American Association of University Women (AAUW) Leading to Reading program, which promotes literacy for underserved children in the community. Accepting the BMYF grant on behalf of Leading to Reading is Lion Kathy MacCarthy. Many local children will be enjoying reading thanks to this wonderful collaboration.📚
