What a wonderful and memorable August 2026 retreat for the Continental Societies, Inc. LaGrange, Georgia Chapter!

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who helped make our August 2026 retreat such a great success. Your time, dedication, and participation made this experience truly special.

This retreat was more than just a gathering—it was an opportunity to reconnect with our mission, strengthen our relationships, share ideas, celebrate our accomplishments, and look forward to the work ahead. Each person brought something valuable to the experience, and together we created an atmosphere of encouragement, teamwork, and renewed purpose.

We are grateful to every participant who contributed to making the retreat meaningful and successful. Your commitment to our organization and the people we serve is deeply appreciated.

As we move forward, may we carry the inspiration, unity, and energy from this retreat into everything we do. Together, we can continue making a meaningful difference in our community and advancing the mission we believe in. We missed our sisters who was not able to attend as well due to other obligations or plans !

While, we the Continental Societies, Inc. LaGrange, Georgia chapter deeply mourn our matriarch passing, we are very grateful for the profound legacy she leaves behind-a honorable legacy of compassion, faith, resilience, humbleness, and most definitely love. Her memory and legacy will forever remain a source of inspiration, reminding us to lead with purpose, serve with humility, and care for one another as a sisterhood. On behalf of our organization , we extend our heartfelt condolences to her family, friends, and all the lives that were touched by her extraordinary spirit. You were a joy and inspiration to your family, friends, church, and all the many organizations of which you served! Though, she may no longer walk beside us, she walked and stood as a faithful, dedicated member for 30 years, her light will forever continue to shine through us, the lives she influenced, and all the work she made possible. With love and gratitude we honor our beloved matriarch and will always and forever cherish her memory. We miss you dearly and love you always, our beautiful sister CSI Matriarch Shirley B. Cox !
