🌿 Tribe Ujima Trust Update 🌿

Family, after much thought and discussion, we have decided to cancel this year’s Confidence Festival.

This was not an easy decision, but we believe it is the best step for our Tribe at this time. Please know that this does not change our commitment to our mission β€” to build and maintain our communities through collective work and responsibility.

While the festival will not move forward this year, our work in the garden, community clean-up days, and programs that uplift our families will continue. Tribe Ujima is still here, still strong, and still dedicated to creating spaces for growth, unity, and positive change.

We are deeply grateful for your support and look forward to sharing upcoming opportunities to work together, grow together, and celebrate our collective strength. ✨

With love & responsibility,
Tribe Ujima Trust

Public Statement from Tribe Ujima
At Tribe Ujima, our mission has always been clear β€” to build and maintain our communities together by fostering personal growth, collective responsibility, and unity.

Recent events concerning a member of our leadership do not reflect the values, purpose, or commitment of Tribe Ujima as a whole. While individuals may face personal challenges, our Tribe remains strong, focused, and committed to the work of uplifting our community.

Ujima means collective work and responsibility. As a Tribe, we embrace that meaning now more than ever. Our focus continues to be creating spaces for growth, addressing community needs, and supporting each other with peace and accountability.

We thank our members and community partners for your continued trust and support as we move forward together β€” stronger, united, and dedicated to being the answer for our people.

🌱 Germination Station at the Finding Confidence Festival! 🌱

At this year’s festival, youth and families will get hands-on experience at our Germination Station! πŸŒžπŸ’§

Here’s what makes it so powerful:
✨ Learn how to start seeds the right way
✨ Discover why keeping soil moist and giving sunlight is key 🌞
✨ Understand thinning & transplanting for healthy growth
✨ Take your germinated seed home and watch it grow 🌿
✨ Share your progress with us for a chance to win prizes 🎁

This activity isn’t just about planting seeds in soil β€” it’s about planting confidence, patience, and consistency in our children and community. Just like seeds need care to grow strong, so do we. πŸ’š
