We are excited to have 47 VolunTeens assisting us this summer! The program runs June 1st-July 16th and they will be in Endoscopy, 4th Floor Nursing unit, LEAN/Patient Experience, Infection Prevention, Spiritual Health, Nursery, OB, Gift Shop, Outpatient Lab/PT, Surgery, Central Supply, Cancer Center, and Women’s Health Center. Please welcome them when you see them!

What an incredible partnership between Wellstar, Callaway Foundation and TCSS! All are investing in our youngest patients!

Students at West Point Elementary now have greater access to care right where they learn and grow. Wellstar West Georgia recently celebrated the opening of the West Point Elementary Wellstar School-Based Health Clinic alongside The Callaway Foundation and Troup County Schools, marking another meaningful step in supporting the health and success of local students and families. The new clinic will help provide convenient access to care, strengthen student well-being, and create a healthier future for the entire school community.

Yesterday Wellstar Medical Group OB/GYNs and staff demonstrated Wellstar West Georgia Medical Center’s surgical robots for the 2026 West Georgia Health Foundation Insiders. Since 2013, the Insiders program has offered twenty community leaders per year exclusive access to Wellstar West Georgia’s physicians, medical services, and advanced technologies during eight monthly sessions.
