Last week National Watermelon Queen Katelyn Lindsay, Executive Director George Szczepanski, and numerous other NWA members and chapter affiliates took to Capitol Hill for the 2026 International Fresh Produce Association's Washington Conference.

During their time there, they were able to have meaningful conversations, valuable networking opportunities, and learn more about the policies and issues shaping the future of the fresh produce industry.
