SAVE THE DATE-- Citizens Committee will again be having a Native Plant Sale on Sunday, May 17 from 10-4 at Miller Nature Preserve 2739 Center Road, Avon.

All plants are $15 in trade-gallon pots. All plants are native to our area, provided from a Lorain County grower, and are 2nd season, hardened off. Proceeds directly benefit the Lorain County Metro Parks through the Citizens Committee, a political action committee.

Citizens Committee will be a vendor at the parks' larger event, Spring Green Market. Their event focuses sustainability, through a curated selection of eco-friendly, nature-inspired goods handcrafted by local vendors and demonstrations from regional experts on sustainable practices. Congrats to the Lorain County Metro Parks Team for another successful year of Halloween Fair!

Tickets for remaining nights of this event are sold out, and only ticket holders will be admitted. Tickets are not available at the gate, and those without tickets will be turned away. Ticket limits are in place to ensure the safety and enjoyment of all visitors and staff. If you missed out this year, mark your calendar — tickets for next year’s event go on sale September 22, 2026.
