The Exceptional Way provides year-round social and recreational services for individuals with disabilities. For adults, we offer a full 2-days/week or 4-days/week Day Activities programming throughout the year.

💦 Water Week 2026, continued!

Tuesday saw some of us enjoy more fun relay games while others attended a ribbon cutting for Coffee B4.

Wednesday and Thursday brought more relay games and then our annual Water War in the afternoons. We enjoyed our time together! 💦

We are so proud of our friends at Coffee B4. They enjoyed a fantastic ribbon cutting this morning, and we so appreciate their invite to us. We enjoyed our time with our community, dropped off some more of our artwork for the Wonder Wall, and are already dreaming of the next time we visit. Congratulations, friends! We love you and are so proud of the work you’re doing for our community!

💦 It’s Water Week, and we started the week yesterday with some fun relay races. We played a sq**rt gun maze relay in which we had to maneuver a plastic cup through a maze using only our water guns. Then, we played a catapult relay. We had a plastic cup full of water on a catapult, and we had to stomp on the catapult, catch the cup in the air, and then empty the water left in our cup in a bottle. The first team that filled their bottle won.

We learned a big lesson yesterday: Our girls may be really outnumbered in our building, but they DOMINATE when it comes to water relays!
