UPDATE ON JANUARY 🐾

I wanted to let everyone know that January was seen by a veterinarian, and we are incredibly thankful to Valley Vet for taking her in even though they had no available openings. That alone speaks volumes. ❤️

January is now on an antibiotic and a probiotic, and we have some good news she tested negative for heartworms 🙏

She is also now up to date on her vaccines. And will also be getting spayed.

➡️ Next step: January is scheduled for surgery on April 8, which was the soonest appointment available.

We are so grateful to every single person who has donated toward her care. Because of you, dogs like January get a chance. Without your support, this simply wouldn’t be possible.

This is what community looks like.
This is what compassion looks like.

And this is exactly why we keep going — to help the animals whose families love them but simply cannot afford the care they desperately need.

Thank you for standing with us and standing for them. 🐾❤️

Heartbreakingly, one did not survive. Now January the female dog needs us.

She is in pain, and she cannot wait any longer to see a veterinarian. Her mom is unable to afford the care she needs, so we are stepping in to help.

January’s appointment is Thursday at Valley Vet at 8:15 a.m. We know we will be paying for her office visit, vaccines, and whatever treatment the veterinarian says she needs.

Please, if you can, donate to help January and other dogs like her. No amount is too small. Every dollar matters.

If you are unable to donate, please share this post. January needs our help now.

Thank you for caring.

Paws 4 Chainge was founded to help dogs living their lives on chains.

But sometimes the need is bigger than we expect.

Recently, we saw a post about a cat who was suffering. We asked the owner to seek veterinary care, and we covered the bill so she could receive the medication she needed.

Bella is now getting treatment because people like you care.

Today, another cat needs the same help.

We never want to say no when an animal is hurting but we can only continue if we have the support to do so.

If you are able, please consider donating. No amount is too small. Every dollar goes directly to helping animals who have nowhere else to turn.

Update: The family has now used the materials we provided to build their fence.

This is exactly what your donations make possible real change for dogs who deserve better.

Thank you for helping us give them a safer, happier life.

Paws 4 Chainge was founded for dogs who are tethered, confined, and forgotten. When this family asked for help with a fence, we saw more than a request — we saw hope.

How could we turn away from these precious faces?

We will be providing fencing materials, and this loving family has committed to building the fence themselves. We will walk beside them every step of the way to ensure these dogs finally have the safe space they deserve.

These dogs are not tethered and already live happy lives with a family who loves them — they simply need a safe place to run and play. This project will make a tremendous difference for both the dogs and the family.

🐾 Help us make this possible.
Please consider donating through PayPal today to support dogs like these in our community. Your gift provides safety, freedom, and love. No amount is too small — and every single donation truly changes a life.

I wanted to share an update on the puppies found on Patillo Rd in Troup County. They have another appointment coming up for more shots, and I'm happy to report that they are thriving! These little ones are growing well and making great progress in their potty training. When we first took them in, they were so sad and lonely, and it broke my heart to see them in such a defeated state. I truly cannot comprehend how anyone could abandon these innocent puppies like they were just trash. They would not have survived on their own, and it’s thanks to your support that they are now filled with joy and hope.

Both puppies will be spayed and neutered when they reach six months old, and then they’ll be ready for adoption. Every time I look at them, a wave of sadness washes over me as I think about what they’ve been through. It’s hard to understand how someone could act so cruelly, but I promise them that they will never feel lonely or sad again. They deserve a loving home and a bright future. Thank you for helping me ensure that they have another chance at a happy life.❤️❤️❤️❤️

We would like to share a heartfelt update on the two puppies found by the roadside in Troup County. These little souls have touched our hearts, and we have given them names fitting of their spirit—Alexa Grace for the sweet girl, and Roman Reigns for the brave boy. Alexa has already been to the vet, where she was lovingly cared for and brought up to date on her vaccinations. She is about four months old and thriving. Roman is set to visit the vet next week. Our goal is to ensure they are both spayed or neutered, preparing them for the loving homes they deserve. We are deeply grateful for the generosity of those who have donated to their care. Your kindness has made a world of difference, and we cannot thank you enough for supporting these precious lives.

Paws 4 Chainge is a nonprofit organization dedicated to buildg enclosures for dogs that are currently confined in small kennels or tethered. Occasionally, our efforts extend to assisting dogs in urgent need. On Friday, July 11 2025, we were informed of two puppies abandoned on Patillo Road in Troup County. The puppies were found in distressing conditions—wet, cold, hungry, and suffering. The smell was horrendous. Leaving them unattended in such a state was not an option, as their fate was uncertain. We have since taken the puppies into our care and are seeking assistance with their veterinary expenses. We have named the female puppy Alexa Grace and have already taken her to the veterinarian, where she was diagnosed with roundworms, hookworms, and an eye infection. Both puppies will require medical treatment, rehabilitation, and eventual rehoming. Your support would be immensely appreciated, and no contribution is too small.

It's been a little while since our last fence build. With the help of our wonderful friend and volunteer Ralph, we transported the fence to the family’s property, and they graciously agreed to install it.

After realizing we had a digger, Dana and I took the initiative to secure the bottom of the fence, ensuring that sweet Oakly could safely roam in her new home. To make her feel even more comfortable, we provided Oakly with two new collars, two bowls, a leash, and a flea and tick collar. We hope to arrange for her to be spayed soon, and we are patiently waiting for the family to make the necessary arrangements and get back to us.

We understand that having a dog comes with its own set of expenses, and while we’ve made great strides with the fence, we want to be able to replace the fence to assist even more families in need of help for their furry companions. As always, we can't do this alone, and any support you can provide would mean the world to us. Thank you for being part of Oakly’s journey!
