Sometimes healing starts with something simple — like a stamp.

American Legion Auxiliary Unit 11 is supporting Stamps for the Wounded, a national program that gives hospitalized veterans meaningful activities through stamp collecting and art therapy. Sorting, soaking, crafting, creating — these small tasks help fight boredom, loneliness, and long days in recovery.

We’re collecting cancelled postage stamps all year long.
Your everyday mail can become a moment of peace and purpose for a veteran.

📬 Stamp Guidelines:
All stamps welcome — U.S. and foreign — just leave ¼ inch of paper around the edges.

Study reducing manufacturing employment barriers for veterans with TBI
Researchers in the LaCroix Aphasia Brain Injury Communication and Cognition Lab are looking for adults with a history of traumatic brain injury (TBI) to participate in a study. They are currently recruiting participants for a study exploring barriers to employment in manufacturing environments for veterans with TBI. This study has two in-person sessions that will each be around 2.5-3.5 hours.
Individuals may be eligible to participate if they:
 Are at least 18 years of age
 Are willing to come to West Lafayette for the study
 Have experienced a TBI
 Are a veteran of the United States military OR a civilian
Eligible participants will receive $20 per hour.
