Today, we officially wrapped up the fourth and final session of the Iberia Parish Teen Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Workshop! 🎉👏🏾

I’m incredibly impressed with all of our participants. Over the course of these four sessions, they learned valuable concepts in financial literacy and entrepreneurship, and today they had the opportunity to bring it all together by pitching their own business ideas. 💡💰📈

Watching them take what they’ve learned and confidently present their ideas was a great way to close out the program. The creativity, effort, and confidence they displayed made us proud!

A major shoutout to our partners, the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana and Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, for helping make this program possible and for investing in the future of our young people.

Session 3 of the Iberia Parish Teen Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Workshop is complete! 💰📈🚀

Over the past three sessions, our teens have been building a foundation in financial literacy, entrepreneurship, budgeting, business development, and smart financial decision-making. Today, they continued putting those lessons together as we prepare for an exciting final session!

🎤 Next Monday is Pitch Day!

Participants will take the financial literacy concepts and business principles they’ve learned throughout the workshop and put them into action by developing and pitching their own business ideas.

This is where education meets application. We want our young people to leave this experience not only knowing more about money and entrepreneurship, but also understanding how they can use that knowledge to create opportunities for themselves and their communities.

A huge thank you to our partners, the Boys & Girls Club of Acadiana and Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, for helping us invest in the next generation of financially informed leaders and entrepreneurs in Iberia Parish.

Today, our teens continued building their financial knowledge while strengthening the skills and confidence needed to think like entrepreneurs and future leaders.

We got off to a great start this afternoon in New Iberia! 📈📊

We officially kicked off the Iberia Parish Teen Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Workshop Series, and our first session is in the books!

Over the course of this series, our young participants will strengthen their understanding of financial literacy, entrepreneurship, money management, and the mindset needed to turn ideas into opportunities. 💡

We believe exposure matters. When young people are introduced early to financial concepts, entrepreneurship, and new possibilities, we help give them tools they can carry well beyond the classroom.

A special thank you to our partners, Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana and Aetna Better Health of Louisiana, for helping us bring this opportunity directly into the community and remove barriers to access.

We’re excited to bring the Iberia Parish Youth Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Workshop Series to the community in partnership with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Acadiana and Aetna Better Health of Louisiana!

Does your child (ages 11-17) have a great idea, an entrepreneurial spirit, or an interest in learning how businesses and money work?

Over four interactive sessions, participants will explore entrepreneurship, financial literacy, business development, and money management while learning how to turn their ideas and creativity into opportunities.

📅 August 17th, 19th, 21st & 24th, 2026
⏰ 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM

What an incredible day in Lake Charles! 📈

We successfully wrapped up our Lake Charles Youth Financial Literacy & Entrepreneurship Workshop, and it was a tremendous success. We are so grateful to every young person who participated and to the parents who entrusted us with the opportunity to invest in their children. Seeing these students engage, ask thoughtful questions, develop business ideas, and build financial knowledge reminds us why this work matters.

A special thank you to Aetna Better Health of Louisiana for helping make this workshop possible—not only here in Lake Charles, but through your continued partnership in expanding financial literacy and entrepreneurship education for youth across Louisiana. We also appreciate your team for being there with us and supporting today’s event.

We're especially encouraged by the incredible response we've received and the number of teens who have already registered. We can't wait to spend the day helping young people build financial literacy skills, explore entrepreneurship, and develop their own business ideas.
