๐Ÿ‡บ๐Ÿ‡ธ This Memorial Day, we honor and remember the brave heroes who gave their lives in service to our country. We also recognize the dedication and sacrifice of our nurse veterans โ€” compassionate caregivers who have served both in uniform and at the bedside.

Their courage, strength, and commitment to caring for others continue to inspire us every day. Today, we remember the fallen, honor those who served, and thank the nurse veterans who have answered the call to serve in more ways than one. โค๏ธ๐Ÿค๐Ÿ’™๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿ‘ฉ๐Ÿฝโ€โš•๏ธ๐Ÿฉบ๐Ÿฉบ

Honoring a trailblazer who helped shape the future of healthcare in Acadiana.

Ray A. Bias, BSN, RN broke barriers as the first African American male to earn a BSN from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette and went on to play a pivotal role in advancing emergency medical services and education. His leadership, innovation, and commitment to excellence continue to impact generations of healthcare professionals.

We proudly recognize his legacy as a 2024 Healthcare Pioneer Honoree. His contributions remind us that representation, resilience, and vision can transform entire systems of care.

Honoring Estelle Massey Osborne this Black History Month

A trailblazer in nursing and education, Dr. Osborne broke barriers as the first Black nurse to earn a masterโ€™s degree and used her voice to advance equity, leadership, and opportunity within the profession.

Her legacy reminds us that representation matters and progress is built by those bold enough to lead.
