“SUPPORTING FAMILIES IN NEED” The Lafayette and Valley FBLA is organizing an initiative to provide essential household supply baskets to the three local families affected by the recent spring break accident. We invite the Lafayette High Schools family and community to join us in this effort to extend support and compassion during a challenging time: FBLA members will personally deliver the assembled baskets to each family. Any contribution amount will be greatly and will go towards the purchase of the baskets and necessary items: DEADLINE TO DONATE: we will accept cash/venmo until April 10th

This was FBLA (Future Business Leaders of America) week for Valley and Lafayette High School members. We are very grateful for our guest speakers that visited Mrs. Laura Heath’s Business Program at Lafayette High School to speak with students 9th-12th grade:

Dori Harmon with Harmon Insurance discussed the importance of business communication skills with clients including insurance specific certifications that are required.

Bailey Fucci from Auburn Bank (Valley Branch) discussed the importance of basic budgeting.

And, Clay Howard (instructor with CVCC and Entrepreneur) and Bo Colley (Political Communications and Entrepreneur). Both who discussed ways to give back to the community and how to start-up businesses including what degrees and certifications need to be obtained.

FBLA members from Ms Ashley Bridges Marketing program, showcased their e-commerce skills in digital marketing and how to target specific audiences.

Our Advisors and Members thank each guest for taking the time to come speak to each of our classes.
