Lafayette Composite Squadron, Civil Air Patrol Lafayette Composite Squadron, LA-014 Lafayette Composite Squadron is the Civil Air Patrol squadron for Lafayette Louisiana.

Civil Air Patrol offers many opportunities for youth, and adults alike! We do many activities involving Emergency Services, Aerospace Education, and many for the cadets (youth from years 12-21). Civil Air Patrol, the official auxiliary of the U.S. Air Force, is a nonprofit organization with more than 57,000 personals nationwide. CAP performs 90 percent of continental U.S. inland search and rescue missions as tasked by the Air Force Rescue Coordination Center and credited by the AFRCC with saving 90 lives in fiscal year of 2008. Its volunteers also perform Homeland Security, disaster relief and counter-drug missions at the request of federal, state, and local agencies. The personals play a leading role in aerospace education and serve as mentors to the nearly 23,000 young people currently participating in CAP cadet programs. CAP also has been performing missions for America for more than 68 years. For more information on Civil Air Patrol, and Lafayette Composite Squadron, please contact one of the emails listed below.
