Founded in 1855, Sigma Chi (ΣΧ) is one of the largest and oldest Greek-letter social fraternities in North America. Guided by our virtues of courage, wisdom, integrity, high ambition, self-control, courtesy, and fidelity, Sigma Chi has developed values-based leaders committed to the betterment of character, campus and community. s in the Spring of 2012, chartered in the Fall of 2014. Since then, we have achieved many 5 Star Chapter Awards, Peterson Awards, IFC and UL-wide awards, and have initiated many men of high values into our chapter.

As the semester comes to an end, we’re proud to reflect on what has been an incredible year for Sigma Chi.

From winning Student Organization of the Year to earning the highest fraternity cumulative GPA and being recognized as a 5 Star Chapter, this semester set the standard. These accomplishments reflect the discipline, accountability, and pride within our brotherhood.

We raised over $20K during Derby Days, earned the Community First Award, brought home five IM championships, and continued to grow as the largest and most active chapter on campus.

Huge shoutout to Brothers Kobe Mendez and Rob Conley for putting on a show on the track. Bringing home the W in the Louisiana Classics 110m hurdles just weeks after earning a third-place finish at the Sun Belt Indoor Championships.

Excellence isn’t seasonal, it’s a standard.
