Our Mission: STS Foundation is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing memorable cultural exchanges between American families and young people from other parts of the world. Our mission is to foster greater mutual understanding and to empower young people to grow through cultural exchange. Since then, STS Foundation has placed thousands of foreign high school exchange students from over 40 countries in homes all across America. For nearly 40 years, STS Foundation has taken great pride in our personal and caring approach to our students, host families, local coordinators, schools, partner organizations, and everyone involved in our program. Our Commitment: STS Foundation is a designated U.S. Department of State exchange program and maintains full accreditation with the Council on Standards for International Education Travel (CSIET). We take great pride in maintaining the highest quality and best reputation in our work with students, host families, and schools. Can you believe we already have applicants for the 2027–28 school year?!🇳🇱⚽

Meet Fenne, one of our Dutch students who will arrive in August 2027! Fenne describes herself as a “Bezige Bij,” which means “Busy Bee” in Dutch—and we think that’s a pretty perfect description of her! 🐝

In addition to being a full-time student, Fenne plays soccer, is active in Scouts, and even has two part-time jobs. She’s clearly someone who loves staying busy, being involved, and making the most of every opportunity!

How amazing would it be for Fenne to have months to get to know her host family before she even arrives in the U.S.?

If you think Fenne might be a great fit for your family, send us a message or use the link below to learn more about hosting her!

Luca is helping his host family, the Griffins, beat the Louisiana heat the best way he knows how — with a little taste of Italy!

Luca shared his grandmother’s recipe for homemade Italian gelato. There’s nothing better than sharing a piece of home and creating new memories with your host family!
