Community Can't Be Canceled!!
We know yesterday’s news that long distance learning will continue through the rest of the school year was a disappointment to many Dons, especially for seniors and their families. We can still celebrate Dons' spirit and our greater community while adhering to the county’s Shelter in Place guidelines.

Starting this Thursday, April 9, we encourage all Dons to Paint the Town Blue! using items you may already have at home. The ideas are endless!

Creativity is the key to this campaign. Ideas include:
Use blue painter’s tape to put a large A on garage door or mailbox; Place homemade signs in windows in your home or on your mailbox; Display decorated paper plates with messages like ; Wrap blue paper chains around a tree in your yard; Decorate your driveway or sidewalk with messages in chalk; Wear your favorite Dons BLUE gear to get in the spirit;Send pics of your decorations to be featured on

Our Let’s Paint This Town Blue! effort is more important than ever and we hope it can help lift all our spirits during this time.

AMAZING and FREE Parent Ed event at AHS

Mon, November 18, 2019 7:00 PM – 8:30 PM PST
Register today to hear Lamorinda native and San Francisco 49ers Football Press Box Announcer Matt Crevin deliver a compelling and thought provoking presentation to our parent community about working with today's youth in developing and supporting the life skill of having face-to-face conversations, through his company Talk Shop.

Is there a more important skill than being able to sustain confident, clear and coherent face-to-face conversations, regardless of the topic or who you are talking with? What a gift for our teenagers, who are very good with social media platforms, but the art of face to face conversation needs a little attention.
