No behalf of A Heart for Children and Westside Food Pantry, we would like to thank The Stuller Family Foundation for it’s gift to help us serve families in our community! It is a blessing to serve alongside local businesses who give back to the community by partnering with us and other local organizations.

I wanted to thank everyone who have prayed and financially supported this ministry!! For tax purposes I had to get the numbers of all the people we served in 2023.
Here are the numbers:
1,369 households

Those households represent
2,189 children 0-17 years of age
2,815 Adults 18-64 years of age
282 Seniors 65 and older

We served 350-425 families per month with a total of 5,286 people who got food last year,because of your prayers and support!!!

This is a typical donation day, we start with 15 cars in our parking lot and a long line down the street, as we serve cars in our parking lot and they leave we pull other cars from the street until they are all served. We are seeing 45-60 families per day! There are many families in need.

Thanks for visiting our page, we are glad that you are here!! Westside Food Pantry is a ministry of A Heart for Children, Inc. and was started in October 2021 after Covid and other reasons caused our after school and summer programs to end. We could not find volunteers to help us tutor children and help them with their homework, we hope to reopen those programs again in the future. We had a heart to help and God opened up the door to help the entire family by starting a food pantry. We are presently partnered with Second Harvest Food Bank and they provide us food and also connect us with Retail outlets to pick up food donations. We presently pick up food from 8 retailers ( 3-Walmarts, Costco, Aldi's, Albertsons, Target, Whole Foods) and some of them twice a week. We are providing food to 360-425 families per month and those families are allowed to come in our building to pick the food they would like from our selection at the time they arrive. Presently we help families from 1-3 on Mondays and Thursdays, we ask people not to begin lining up until 11 am please. If you know of someone in need of food or you or someone you know would like to volunteer or give a donation of food or finances to help us continue this work, please do not hesitate to contact us!!
