Our Student Veterans Organization came together for another successful Taco Tuesday meeting! From catching up with familiar faces to welcoming new ones, we’re continuing to build a strong community of veterans, students, and supporters.

Recently the Student Veteran Organization of UL Lafayette hosted an information session for student Veterans interested in becoming members of The Wounded Warrior Program. Raynatta Lockett, a current Masters Student and local WWP leader shared her knowlege of the benefits with the others in the veteran lounge in Agnes Edwards Hall . Special thanks to Ross Murfee at Old Tyme Grocery for providing lunch for this event. The group was also treated to day of bang therapy at LA Gun Range hosted by WWP.
