⚖️ Legal Aid at the Boilermaker Brawl! ⚖️

We’re proud to see members of the Legal Aid family supporting the next generation of advocates at Purdue University’s 2026 Boilermaker Brawl Mock Trial Invitational!

Our Executive Director, Luisa White, served as a volunteer judge during the tournament, alongside Legal Aid Board members Tracey Eberhardt and Jackie Starbuck, who also volunteered their time as judges.

Thank you to Luisa, Tracey, and Jackie for giving back to the legal community and helping future attorneys sharpen their courtroom skills! We’re grateful for their continued commitment to Legal Aid and to the students who will shape the future of our profession. ⚖️💙

The tournament took place October 3–4 at Purdue University and featured volunteer judges providing guidance and feedback to participating mock trial teams.

Legal Aid was out in the community the past few weekends!

We were grateful to join our neighbors at the Tippecanoe Celebration of Recovery Rally and the Great Monon Block Party! From celebrating recovery and connecting families with community resources to enjoying games, music, food, and neighborhood fun, these events were a wonderful reminder of the strength and connection within our community.

Even though we got a little rained on at the Great Monon Block Party this past Saturday, we still had a great time being out in the community and connecting with our neighbors! ☔️💜

Legal Aid will be at the Tippecanoe Celebration Of Recovery Rally on Saturday!

Join us on September 12th from 1–4 PM at the River City Community Center for an afternoon celebrating recovery, community, and new beginnings.

There will be free admission, kids’ activities, community resources, special guest speakers, and more! We’re excited to be there alongside other local organizations and connect with our community. 💜

We were honored to attend the Overdose Remembrance & Awareness Event hosted by the Drug-Free Coalition of Tippecanoe County

Events like this give our community an opportunity to come together, remember those we’ve lost, support those who are struggling, and raise awareness about the impact of substance use and overdose.
