Update: She is safe and with Mardi Paws!! Throwing out a Hail Mary for a rescue group! This appears to be a bloodhound and it was dumped at a friend’s elderly mother’s house in Maurice. A neighbor is trying to care for it until something can be done. Does anyone know of a rescue that can help?

UPDATE ON TODAY’s EVENT DUE TO THE RAIN: We aren’t walking the parade route we had mapped out but we’ll have Mardi Gras music, plenty of food and beverage to purchase and hoping we can have short second line if we can get a break in the rain. ☂️💜💚💛
