Participate in this year’s Maker Faire “Take and Make” with LEaRN! Pick up a free air-quality sensor prototype and work with the LEaRN team and CGI United States to configure the device. LeaRN is focused on innovation regarding smart community initiatives that can be successfully leveraged to help communities better manage resources and improve quality of life. Once you pick up your device, join our virtual workshop on April 8 from 6-7:30pm where we will walk you through installing your device and reading the sensor dashboard. Congrats to our local FTC Team Phenomena 11200 for winning the Collins Aerospace Innovate Award at the state championship!
This is their second year in a row for winning this award.

"One of the requirements with FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) is how do you face challenges, how do you innovate and work around it," said Barbara Broussard, a mentor who works with the district teams. "COVID is just another challenge."

"They learn problem-solving, working under pressure and time constraints."
