Today, we’re flipping the script! 🛼💙

We LOVE when skaters from other leagues come out and join us when we need a little extra help. Today, two of our own are getting the chance to return the favor!

🔥 Daddy-O Long Legs is heading up to Memphis to skate with Roe City Roller Derby!

💥 BreAggressive is staying a little closer to home, subbing for Spindletop Roller Girls in Beaumont!

That’s one of the things we love about derby: we may wear different jerseys, but we’re all part of the same derby family. We’re always happy to welcome visiting skaters into our lineup, and we’re proud to send our own out to lend a hand when another team needs them.

🌻💙💛 Today we’re celebrating Stunflower!

If you’ve watched us play this season, chances are you’ve seen StunFlower flying around the track as a jammer, making things happen and putting in the work every time she hits the floor. And while she’s mostly known for jamming, she’s just as happy to throw on a blocker stripe and get to work there too.

But Stun brings more to ARD than what she does on the track. As part of our Skater Relations crew, she’s one of the people helping make sure our team stays connected, supported, and, most importantly, feels like a team. That behind-the-scenes stuff matters. A lot.

We’re so glad you’re part of this weird little roller derby family, Stun. We hope this next trip around the sun brings you plenty of reasons to smile, a few fewer bruises, and lots of moments that make you proud of how far you’ve come. 🌻

🎂💙💛 Today we’re celebrating Venis Thigh Trapp!

Venis is one of those people who brings something special to the team just by being exactly who they are. As a jammer, they bring speed, determination, and plenty of personality to the track, but it’s the person behind the helmet that we’re really celebrating today.

Roller derby is a weird little family, and the people we get to share this sport with are a huge part of what makes it so special. We’re grateful for every practice, every laugh, every hard-fought jam, every ridiculous moment, and every memory made along the way.

Trapp, we hope your birthday reminds you just how much you mean to the people who get to skate alongside you. We’re pretty damn lucky to call you one of ours. 🥹
