We're still dreaming of that delicious hot cup of coffee that Rêve Coffee Lab - Downtown provided for us artists last weekend Festivals Acadiens et Créoles ! They generously provided hot coffee, with all the fixins, to over 80 artists on both Saturday and Sunday morning! 🌞 ☕ We were able to last through the long heat of the day thanks to this sweet nectar.

Thank you Rêve Coffee Lab - Downtown ! We love this location with its big windows, and their coffee truly does have such a unique flavor. They carefully roast it and you definitely get a nice caffeine buzz, because the caffeine isn't destroyed by over-roasting. It's a quality cup that we highly recommend!

A huge THANK YOU to Rickey Meche’s Donuts/Guilbeau 👏🏼 for keeping our artists fueled throughout . 🍩 This business is so generous and so kind, and y'all, the donuts were STILL WARM when we got them 😍

🥁🥁🥁 AWARDS PRESENTATION 🎀🎀🎀

Congratulations to Nicholas Gallimore of MudCat Whiskers ! He won Best in Show! Beautiful products, clear & clean display, and a truly warm welcome when you go into his booth! (That first picture isn't blurry, it's literal dust in the air!)

Our humble runners up~ Jeni Battaglia Guidry Won Best Booth Design! Her colors truly were poppin'!

And Dusty Reed for Best Marketing! His sculptures truly spoke for themselves! lol.

Thank you to everyone who put so much love and attention into their spaces, the judges deliberated for hours saying that it was a really hard decision and that they could tell everyone had really stepped up their game. They said it was one of the best markets they'd seen! We're so proud of everyone!

Come see Jeni Battaglia at Festival Acadiens ~ She does beautiful pieces of mixed media art consisting of cyanotype prints with stitching and watercolor. She also uses enamel paints on copper and turns it into unique and refreshing pieces of jewelry. A burst of sophistication and color, we can't wait to see her beautiful booth October 9th, 10th, and 11th! Friday evening from 5-7:30 and 10am-7:30pm on Saturday and Sunday. 🩵💙💜

Please welcome Caleb and Jenn Gallet as two of our newest members of the Louisiana Crafts Guild! They are a team of wood turning Craftsmen that will be with us Festivals Acadiens et Créoles ! They have gorgeous cutting boards, utensils, and much more~ all hand made in the Carecro~Lafayette area!

LFT Fiber is the largest Sole Presenting Sponsor of Festivals Acadiens et Créoles and they are taking this year to make sure the celebrations start early!

It's going to be a wonderful year. Gulf Brew is in September this year which makes it so much more accessible for patrons and vendors alike as October is usually jam-packed. And this year Festival Acadiana is helping the Smithsonian Institute celebrate 250 years of American history! There will be extra events and even a special area in Girard Park this year. You don't want to miss it!
