Our Story
The Oil Center Association, formerly known as the Oil Center Renaissance Association, was designed to unite the business and professional community in what is recognized as Lafayette’s Oil Center. It is our vision to preserve, enhance, and assure the continued viability while encouraging growth, avoiding urban decay, and promoting a positive image.
We are responsible for the preparation and ex*****on of our annual fundraiser, Festival of Lights, celebrating its 25th anniversary in 2018; beautification projects in the Oil Center - we will be reworking the boulevard on Coolidge Street in late 2018 to bring that portion of the Azalea Trail back to its former glory; and the promotion of our wonderful businesses located in this historic area of Lafayette.
