Bauer Family Resources is a private, non-profit organization serving children and families since 1929.

Services include youth development, school-based youth programs, case management, Head Start and Early Head Start and Safe Sleep in 9 counties. Grace Bauer founded this agency over 90 years ago based on her passion to nurture troubled youth. Though our agency has undergone significant challenges, growth and changes throughout the years, Grace's original passion, mission and resilience remains at the very heart of our work creating brighter tomorrows by strengthening children and families today.

We are excited to announce that Rachel O., our HR Assistant, has been selected as our May Employee of the Month!

Rachel has been a huge asset to the HR team since day one. She has worked hard to learn our HRIS and consistently looks for ways to streamline and improve our processes. Rachel also played an instrumental role in our successful Head Start review and our annual Fiscal/HR audit. We are incredibly thankful to have her on our team.

🚒✨ Community connection in action!
Our Mooresville Bauer Head Start and Early Head Start friends had some very special visitors stop by last week. Local firefighters came to spend time with the children, share what they do, and help everyone learn a little more about fire safety.

The kids loved exploring the truck, meeting the crew, and asking lots of great questions. Thank you to our Mooresville firefighters for taking the time to visit and inspire our youngest learners.
