Indiana State Fair County Fair Queens Day

I had an amazing time at the state fair this Sunday! Not only was I able to experience all aspects of the fair from the exhibits and livestock, to the fair food and the pioneer village. I was also able to meet with other county fair queens from across the state. The state fair is the absolute best way to highlight the hard work of all Indiana 4H members and I was so thankful for the opportunity to see it all!

Thursday: started off with the llama show and ended the night with the greased watermelon! After watching the supreme showmanship contest the queens of the court participated in the Greased Watermelon Contest against the littles. What an awesome way to end the fair!

Another great day at the fair! Most of the day was spent at the swine show, but we were still able to enjoy the tractor parade, pass out buckle awards at the horse arena, as well as other swine special awards. We cannot wait to participate in the the greased watermelon contest tomorrow!

Beef day! Today we were able to attend the beef show, pet and hobby parade, horse show, and mini 4-H’er signing event. Although it was a busy day it was especially worth it to watch everyone’s hard work pay off!

Today started with the Dairy show and ended with the public fashion r***e. In between both of these awesome events we were able to spend plenty of time in the livestock barns checking out all the animals!

Today was another great day at the fair! Along with watching the awesome goat show we were able to ride in the tractor parade for the first time! We spent time looking through all the awesome 4H exhibits and spending plenty of time with the Little Miss and Mister court. Adrienne was able to go to the tractor pull and we all got a front row seat to watch Aubrey and Abby showed their sheep!
