Our Foundation
I grew up in the suburb of east of Nigeria, in the town of Mbosi in Ihiala Local Government Area. Though ours is a very little community, the academic needs of the community is fed by this small but old community school building. It is called Holy Rosary Community Primary School, Mbosi. I did my elementary education: primary 1 to 6 in this very school.
Anyone who has been following our updates must have seen the typical students sitting in the classrooms with their teacher. In fact, one of the pictures featured me in the classroom with students and a teacher. I sat in those classrooms and on those student desks up until 1979 when I finished my elementary school education.
But more importantly, another significant thing about this school regarding our foundation is that the Pillars, on whose names the foundation was dedicated: Raphael and Evelyn, were at different times in history, the Headmasters (Principals) of this school. They worked in this school for the major part of the carriers. They worked in their community, and among the people of their community; they were very much active in the lives of their people; their kins and kits.
Consequently, they played a very significant role in the governance/leadership of the community; educating the little kids while at the same time paying for the tuition of some kids from poor families.
