been in operation since January 2017. Now serves nearly
50 students and 12 staff.

Is designed to make
the lives of individuals with
cognitive, physical disabilities,
and autism reach their goals and
dreams. Shine On University started out with 6
students and 3 staff. When Shine On University started the
intent was to provide services to
individuals residing in Tippecanoe
County, but now we serve students from
Tippecanoe and surrounding counties.

One week until our 4th Annual Golf Outing fundraiser! Come join the fun and be an Island Master. In previous years the money raised has been used to purchase picnic tables and lumber for a ramp to our side patio accessible to all. We would like to make some improvements there to make it more functional. Any amount of donations will be appreciated.

Early this morning we learned baseballs weigh between 5 - 5.25 ounces starting with a hard rubber core, string or yarn used as winders, cow hide leather, and exactly 168 stitches with read thread to hold it all together. A couple of "seasoned staff" acted out part of the classic Who's on First skit. 😆

We spent the afternoon at Loeb Stadium Lafayette Parks & Recreation watching the Lafayette Aviators. The score wasn't what we hoped for but we still had a good time.

🎶Take me out to the ballgame 🎶 Today is the Lafayette Aviators game!! Pick up will be at Loeb Stadium at 3:00 pm. Students do not need to bring a lot of "extras" with them today such as bags, blankets, and even lunchboxes as they will not be returning to SOU. A sack lunch will be fine. The Stadium does NOT accept cash. Play Ball Flyboys!!⚾️
