• 13 community resource providers
• 240 job seekers in attendance
• 68 on-the-spot job offers
• 162 job seekers moving forward with interviews

This event features companies actively hiring individuals with justice involvement and community resources for you and your family. Free and open to Justice Involved, Formerly Incarcerated Persons, and the public. No preregistration needed.

On Thursday morning we hosted two impactful events focused on empowering individuals and strengthening our community.

Our Reentry Simulation for Acadiana SHRM provided participants with a realistic look at the challenges many returning citizens face as they navigate housing, employment, transportation, and other barriers after incarceration. The experience encouraged meaningful conversations about how we can better support successful reentry.

Then in the afternoon, our Career Readiness & Expungement Clinic connected participants with valuable employment resources, resume and interview assistance, and information about the expungement process to help remove barriers to employment and create new opportunities.

Thank you to everyone who attended, volunteered, and partnered with us to make these events a success. Together, we’re helping create pathways to opportunity, stability, and brighter futures.
