The weekend before Christmas, Spread Cheer Acadiana visited Landmark Acadiana in Cade. It was great to see their faces light up when we gave them their gifts.

It is always so great to visit Cedar Crest Memory Care. Each resident was gifted a cozy blanket, Christmas card, and a soft peppermint.

Earlier this month, Christmas Cheer was spread throughout Garden View Assisted Living in Lafayette. The residents were so excited to open their Christmas gifts.

Deliveries began in early December, and smiles were brought to many facility residents. Thank you BeeHive Homes of Youngsville Assisted Living for welcoming us in and allowing us to spread some Christmas Cheer. This was the fourth year to visit Beehive.

It was a great honor to work with Social Entertainment, and Youngsville On Ice to spread Christmas cheer to young boys and girls across acadiana. Many toys were collected and they will be delivered to Healing House this weekend. We truly do have the most generous and loving community!

We would like to spotlight another incredible local business. Spa Almaz is located 1000 Parkview Dr. Suite 14 in New Iberia. They are locally owned and operated offering everything from manicures/pedicures, facials, massages, and body treatments. You can opt for a quick thirty minute massage, or go all out for a full day of pampering. The love supporting their community, and we are so blessed to be teaming up with the to spread some Christmas cheer to the local nursing homes. If you stop by and make a donation, you will be enter to win a Spa gift card.

A huge thank you to Acadiana Renaissance Charter Academy K-8 K-2nd graders, and faculty for helping us Spread Christmas Cheer to the local nursing homes. The cards look amazing, and I know the residents will love them! ❤️

Donations have been rolling in, and Christmas packages are being put together. The first deliveries will go out tomorrow afternoon. We are so grateful for the continued support from the local businesses, and our community. We will continue to collect items until Friday, December 15th.

Our first spotlight buidness for tonight is Southern Sass Boutique. They are located at 603 Jefferson Terrace Suite A in New Iberia. They are a family owned and operated trendy boutique offering everything from the cutest accessories to amazing outfits. This is our second year teaming up with them, and we are so grateful for all of their support.

Another fantastic business we would like to spotlight is Drop Dead Deals, located at 5702 Johnston Street #101. They are a locally owned and operated discount bin store. Each week, they stock their bins to the brim, offering a set price for each day of the week. They are very involved with supporting their community, teaming up with Toys for Tots, local humane societies, children’s hospitals, and now Spread Cheer Acadiana. Our donation box is right near the wall and next to the Toys for Tots boxes. Please also consider either bringing in a toy to donate or purchasing one of the many toys in the bins for Toys for Tots.
