In her run for president in 2019, Vice President Kamala Harris backed a "Medicare for All" health care system, according to this KFF Health News story.

If elected president, she is also expected to be in favor of women's health care and reproductive rights.

Alarm bells are being raised over Medicare Advantage companies that are increasingly using Artificial Intelligence to wrongly deny health care to senior citizens!

51 members of Congress wrote to the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services asking that it scrutinize the practice.

"Insurers using AI to deny needed care to seniors and people with disabilities means sacrificing patient needs on the altar of corporate greed," said one campaigner.

Just in time for Pride Month, the Colorado Supreme Court rejected a ballot initiative that would have banned gender-affirming health care for youth.

And just two weeks ago, a federal judge in Florida rejected a Florida law that banned care for transgender youth that also limited the treatment for adults, saying the law was unconstitutional.

The Colorado Supreme Court on Monday rejected a proposed ballot measure that would have broadly banned gender-affirming care and surgery for minors.
