Summer has flown by! As we prepare to return back to school and all activities, we want to remind you about the mid August deadline for Adult Scouter awards. Nomination forms for the 2026 Adult Scouter Awards are now available. We are so fortunate to have so many wonderful leaders working with Catholic scouts. What better way to thank them than to take the time to nominate them for a an Adult Scouter award to be presented by Bishop Deshotel this fall?
These adult leaders volunteer their time in promoting Catholic formation and values in their scouting leader roles. Take the time to acknowledge the good work that they do.

Scout Sunday was celebrated on Sunday, February 8. Our Lady of Fatima Church celebrated by welcoming the Scouts and Girl Scouts to the 9 a.m. mass. After mass, the scouts enjoyed fellowship, donuts, and orange juice with parishioners.

The values of both groups incorporate duty to God and country.

Congrats to all scouts, leaders, families, and supporters. And a special thank you to Father Tom Voorhies, mass celebrant, and Deacon Tim Maragos for your review of Catholic religious awards for many years.

One of the activities for the CCS-DOL annual retreat is the recitation of the rosary lead by scouts. Scouts honored the blessed mother with their reverance.
