BSA Troop 284 - Lafayette, CA Come and meet our Scouts! The troop is open to all boys ages 11 and up.

Troop 284 is chartered by the VFW, Post 8063 and meets at the Veterans Memorial Building in Lafayette, CA on most Sunday nights from 7:30-8:30.

Service is a fundamental of scouting. We worked with the Coral Restoration Foundation (CRF) to clean and preserve the coral nursery where coral is started and grown and then transplanted into reefs that need help. Also, on each dive we participated in the Dive Against Debris program where we picked up trash from the ocean floor.
