To help our efforts in growing our veteran community we are proud to announce that we will be implementing Veteran Group Runs in the Lafayette area. These group runs will take place every other Sunday afternoon and will begin on September 1st. These runs will also be open to the general public so feel free to bring your nonveteran friends. We plan to gather at a local watering hole from which we will launch the runs and will return to said watering hole for post run celebrations, socializing and libations....

We want to build our veteran community through group hikes in Louisiana. Our goal is to grow a veteran community centered around outdoor activities such as backpacking, hiking, and kayaking. We strongly encourage veterans to attend but our events are open to non-veterans as well. We just ask that non-veterans give a small donation to our veteran wilderness therapy program.
