Wow, Acadiana! Our hearts (and our plates) are absolutely full after an incredible Family Fun Day! From the delicious crawfish and infectious laughter to the amazing company, it was a beautiful celebration of our vibrant Filipino culture and community spirit.
To everyone who came out, brought a dish, shared a smile, or joined in on the games—THANK YOU! You are what makes FILIPINO AMERICAN FRIENDS OF ACADIANA feel like one big, joyful family. ❤️

☀️ Family Fun Day Reminder! ☀️

We can’t wait to see everyone for a fantastic day of food, family, and fun! To make sure you’re as comfortable as possible, here are a few quick reminders before you head out:

• 🪑 Bring your lawn chairs and picnic blankets! Grab your favorite camp chairs or a big blanket so you have a comfy spot to spread out, relax, and catch up.

• 🦞 Crawfish Tray Reminder: The crawfish will be served individually bagged, so a tray isn't required. However, if you want maximum peeling convenience, we highly recommend bringing your crawfish trays and lets enjoy a salo-salo “feast”

Join us for a day of fun, food, and family at our annual Family Fun Day Crawfish Boil in the Park!

FREE Crawfish for MEMBERS ONLY, but you're welcome to bring your favorite dish to share, and enjoy a delightful afternoon filled with:
🎈 Games for all ages

Also, bring kids swimming suits in case they want to splash and play in the water 💦

Let's make memories together as we enjoy good food, great company, and the beauty of nature. Don't forget to bring your picnic blankets, lawn chairs, and any outdoor games you'd like to share!

Please RSVP by May 24, 2026 so we can ensure we have enough space and supplies for everyone.

NOTE: Food are provided by FAFAI as a gesture of appreciation to all of our members, so just show up and enjoy!

What a night! 🇵🇭✨
The Global Bites: International Street Food Festival was a massive success, and the Filipino community truly stole the show! From the incredible food to the unmatched energy, our heritage was on full display and the crowd couldn’t get enough.
Huge thanks to everyone who came out to support. Not only was it a delicious evening, but it also helped raise vital funds for our local international organizations. 🍢🍛
