Forgotten Island was AN ABSOLUTE BLAST! So proud, so funny, and so pinoy!🇵🇭
From the karaoke scenes to the whispering “tabi-tabi po” scene, seeing our legends “aswang” flexed on the big screen was everything! 🤣🔥..Now BRB, time to get explaining to our kids what each “aswang” character is from the mananangal to the tiyanak! 😂

Can’t wait to watch Forgotten Island! Just seeing our stories and folklore on the big screen is such a massive moment for the Filipino community. 🇵🇭✨

For years, mainstream cinema has explored mythologies from around the world, but seeing Filipino folklore—our aswang, kapre, and ancient myths—brought to life in a major film like this feels historic.

Why this release means so much:

🇵🇭 By Us, For Us: Loaded with incredible Pinoy talent (H.E.R., Liza Soberano, Lea Salonga, Dolly de Leon, Jo Koy, Manny Jacinto) both on screen and behind the scenes.

✨ Our Myths, Reimagined: Turning our childhood folklore into a powerful story about identity, heritage, and belonging.

💖 The Diaspora Heart: Beautifully honoring the strength and connection of Filipino families across generations and oceans.

Our culture is vibrant, our stories matter, and we belong on the global stage. 💙❤️💛
