BREAKING: FOUR OVERDOSES LEADING TO THREE DEATHS IN THE PAST 24 HOURS … AND AUTHORITIES ISSUE A WARNING: BAD DRUGS ON THE STREETS.
Authorities tell me three overdoses in Lincoln County, TN and one in Franklin County.
Three died and one is in critical condition.
The concern is there may be others in the area who recently purchased drugs tainted with something they are not expecting — likely fentanyl.
Toxicology is being done on the deceased.
So what about the investigation?
Sheriff’s detectives in both counties are working to identify the source of the illegal narcotics.
To that end they conducted a search warrant at a home and seized:
-Approximately one ounce of a substance believed to be methamphetamine
-Approximately two ounces of a substance believed to be ma*****na
-Three rifles
-Two shotguns
-One pistol
-Drug paraphernalia
Three men were arrested on the gun and drug charges.
It remains to be seen if they were the source of the tainted drugs.
Whoever is responsible will be charged with Second Degree Murder time three for providing the deadly doses.
