Through our equine-assisted activities and riding program, we provide a welcoming, encouraging environment where individuals of all abilities can learn, grow, and experience the joy of horses.

But Robinson’s is about so much more than riding.

It’s about the rider who discovers a new sense of independence. The smile that comes after accomplishing something new. The friendships formed between riders, volunteers, and horses. And the community that comes together to make it all possible.

🍽️🥂Good food, great drinks, and even better company!

A huge THANK YOU to BT Humble’s and Vino Mobile Bar for helping make the 2026 Robinson’s Round Up such a wonderful evening! 🐴❤️

🔥 BT Humble’s treated our guests to an incredible BBQ dinner, a beautiful grazing table, and delicious sweet treats! From start to finish, they made sure everyone had something wonderful to enjoy.

🍷 Vino Mobile Bar kept the drinks flowing and brought such a fun, welcoming atmosphere to the evening! We are so grateful for their wonderful service and for helping make the night special for our guests.

Events like the Round Up wouldn’t be possible without the incredible businesses in our community who share their time, talents, and support with us.

🐴❤️Meet the family behind Robinson’s!

It’s been a while since we’ve done introductions around here, and with so many new faces following along, it’s time to meet the family behind Robinson’s Equine Therapy & Riding!

🐴 Jim & Donna Robinson

The names behind Robinson’s! Jim and Donna founded the organization in 2020, turning their love for horses and heart for serving others into something pretty special.

They continue to oversee all operations, care for the horses, maintain the property, lead fundraising efforts, and tackle the never-ending list of projects that comes with running a horse farm. While much of their work happens behind the scenes, their dedication and generosity are at the heart of everything that happens at Robinson’s.

🐴 Caleb & Shelby Borgestad

Shelby is Jim and Donna’s granddaughter, and she and her husband, Caleb, have the privilege of working alongside them!

Shelby graduated with a degree in Animal Science and serves as an officer in the Indiana Army National Guard.

Caleb earned his degree in Elementary Education, previously worked as a teacher, and is now a firefighter with the Lafayette Fire Department.

Together, Shelby and Caleb spend much of their time teaching riding classes, working with riders and families, coordinating volunteers, and keeping up with the many moving pieces of the program.

Between seven horses, full-time careers, raising three little girls, and everything else life brings, there’s rarely a dull moment for this family! 🤠

What started with Jim and Donna has become something multiple generations of their family get to share, and that’s something pretty special.

Whether you’ve known the Robinson family for years or are just getting to know them, we’re glad you’re here!

🐴More than just a riding lesson❤️

At Robinson’s Equine, we believe some of the most meaningful moments happen in the barn.

A rider finding the courage to try something new. A child building a connection with a 1,200-pound animal. A smile after accomplishing something that once seemed impossible.

These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.

Every lesson is an opportunity to build confidence, independence, communication, and connection - all with the help of some pretty incredible horses 🐴

As a fully volunteer-run, donor-supported nonprofit, we are incredibly grateful for the community that makes these opportunities possible.

🐴🧡Let’s hear it for our 2026 Round Up auction donors!

One of the highlights of this year’s Robinson’s Round Up was the incredible variety of items, experiences, and packages donated for our silent and live auctions!

From local restaurants and small businesses to unique experiences, handmade creations, gift baskets, and generous contributions from individuals, our auction was truly a reflection of the amazing community surrounding Robinson’s.

So many businesses and individuals stepped up to support our mission, and we cannot thank them enough. Every donated item helped us raise funds that directly support our riders, care for our horses, and keep our program moving forward.

What makes this even more special is how many of these donations came from local businesses. By supporting the Round Up, these businesses invested in our mission and the people we serve. We hope you’ll return that generosity by shopping local and supporting the businesses that support Robinson’s!

🧡Behind every successful Round Up is an incredible group of volunteers! 🐴

The 2026 Robinson’s Round Up would not have been possible without the amazing people who gave their time, energy, and hearts to make it happen.

From preparing the barn and setting up decorations to parking cars, welcoming guests, assisting with auctions, keeping everything running smoothly, and staying late to clean up - our volunteers showed up in every way imaginable.

Some of these faces are familiar sights around the barn, while others stepped in specifically to help with our biggest fundraiser of the year. Every single one of you played an important role in making the evening a success.

What makes Robinson’s so special has always been the people behind it. Our volunteers don’t just give their time - they help create the welcoming, supportive community that our riders and families know and love.

To everyone who helped before, during, and after the Round Up: THANK YOU! 🧡

What an incredible night for Robinson’s 🧡🐴

We are still taking in everything that happened at the 2026 Robinson’s Round Up, and we are absolutely overwhelmed by the support of our community.

Together, you helped raise more than $37,000 for Robinson’s Equine Therapy and Riding! 🎉

Every sponsorship, ticket, auction bid, donation, merchandise purchase, and gift helped get us here - and we are incredibly grateful.

And we’re not done yet.

We set an ambitious goal of $75,000 for this year’s Round Up because the needs of our program continue to grow. While Round Up night may be over, giving is still open through our event page, and every gift helps move us closer to that goal.

Because $37,000 - and every dollar we raise beyond it - represents so much more than a number.

It means caring for our horses. Supporting our riders. Providing opportunities for confidence, independence, connection, and joy. Continuing to improve our facility and equipment. And helping ensure Robinson’s can continue serving individuals and families in our community.
