Working with a client right now:
66 year old woman who has experienced homelessness for the last seven years. She was recently in home, which was lost to a fire, resulting in her moving into a shelter.

We have an opportunity to help get her back into permanent housing, with her rents being covered by a few local resources and programs. However, we are in need of covering her deposit and are at risk of losing this housing if not secured soon.

Do any of our amazing supporters have the ability to pitch in? The deposit is $500. I can provide a receipt for anyone willing to donate.

Meeting at The Coffee House on Ashley Phosphate at 10am this Thursday to work on grants and get a plan of action together for raising funds for:

1) employee wages for two roles
- Outreach
- Account Manager
2) building expenses for construction of the Resource Center outbuilding
3) Operating/ overhead expenses

This is an open invitation to the meeting for anyone who is able to donate a few hours of admin work to help us plan and execute our funding mission.

Who do we have that is phenomenal at writing grants? I have a list of grants available, but have neither the experience or brain capacity to take this on right now.

I need a grant(s) that cover wages for 2 employees for the Non-profit, and a grant(s) to cover construction costs for the outbuilding needed for the Resource Center.

I just got a call from the IRS customer service department per my request.... Our TAX EXEMPT status has been APPROVED!!!...

I just got a call from the IRS customer service department per my request.... Our TAX EXEMPT status has been APPROVED!!!! She said it will take a week or two to get our official letter in the mail due to the processing department just getting it in cue to finish up and send out.

Just got off the phone with the IRS (Yay me!) Our 1023EZ (Tax exempt) application has been assigned to an agent!

We have not been approved just yet, but things are moving forward!! 🎉🎉🎉
