Spinal Cord Injury Scholar's Fund

Spinal Cord Injury Scholar's Fund His experience made him aware of the big financial resources one needs to continue their education once affected by this type of injuries.

The SCIS Fund is meant to help kids financially to provide the resources needed for basic equipment needed to return to school and continue their education after a traumatic Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). The Spinal Cord Injury Scholars Fund was created by the Brotman family after Austin the oldest of three kids suffered a traumatic spinal cord injury after diving of a boat head first. While he was ble

ssed to have the financial resources to do so, he notices that there were more kids that did not share the same opportunity. He did not want finances to determine whether some one could continue their education or not. And for this reason he decided to start this fund.
